What To Do If You've Been ‘Glutened'

Top tips 

  • Drink Teas: Peppermint, fennel, chamomile or green tea with lemon
  • Drink lots of water 
  • Take activated charcoal or apple cider vinegar to help break down the enzymes.
  • You can take Metamucil (a fibre supplement) to help flush out the gluten
  • Eat healthy food instead of sugar treats 
  • Eat easily digestible foods 
  • Eat plain foods like pasta, rice and potato
  • Medicine: Buscopan with peppermint tea, probiotics, painkillers
  • Rest! Get cosy, have a hot bath and get a hot water bottle and nap! (I always find if I have been glutened I become SO sleepy and drained!)
